1. Who we are
This site, aprendersintemer.org, belongs to the Fundación Aprender sin Temer (Aprender sin Temer Foundation), a non-profit organization registered with Ecuador's MIES (Resolution No. MIES-CZ-5-2024-0019-R), tax ID (RUC) 0993392222001. We transform communities in Ecuador through STEAM education and sustainable agriculture.
2. Acceptance
By browsing this site you accept these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
3. Use of the site
You are free to use the site to learn about us, donate, apply as a volunteer or contact us. When using it you agree to:
- Provide truthful information in the forms.
- Not send offensive or illegal content, spam or malicious code.
- Not try to access restricted parts of the site or disrupt how it works.
- Not impersonate the foundation or anyone else.
4. Content and intellectual property
The texts, photographs, logo, the Temi character, illustrations and other materials on this site belong to the Aprender sin Temer Foundation or are used with their authors' permission.
You are welcome to share our pages and campaigns on social media. Any other use, such as reproducing, modifying or using the material for commercial purposes, requires our written permission.
5. Donations
- Donations are voluntary and go to the foundation's programs, projects and campaigns.
- When you donate to a specific campaign, such as "Every Gesture Counts", your gift goes to that campaign. If we raise more than needed, the surplus goes to other foundation programs.
- Payments are made by bank transfer or through PayPal. Our site does not process or store card details.
- If you made a mistake in the amount or details of a donation, email info@aprendersintemer.org as soon as possible and we will review your case.
- If you need a donation certificate, request it by email along with your receipt.
6. Volunteering and forms
Sending the volunteer form does not create an employment relationship or guarantee that you will join. We review every application and will contact you if there is an activity that matches your profile. Volunteer activities may have their own conditions, which we will share with you before you start.
7. Third-party services and links
The site includes links and buttons to external services such as WhatsApp, PayPal, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok. Those services have their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for their content or how they work.
8. Liability
We do our best to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date, but it may contain errors or change without notice. Impact figures and campaign goals are for reference.
We do not guarantee that the site will always be available or free of errors, and we are not liable for damage caused by outages, technical failures or the use of third-party services.
9. Changes
We may modify these Terms when needed. The current version, with its update date, will always be published on this page. The Spanish version prevails in case of any discrepancy.
